I have had this book forever and thought it was time we shared our favourite books with you.

This Lauren Child version is a real delight!… Real princesses do not grow on trees — you just have to wait for one to come to you. And if one does, just to be sure, make her a bed of twelve feather mattresses, and underneath those twelve mattresses place a small pea-green garden pea… and the rest is history! How could you not love this story?
